Lisa’s notes: I’ve owned these over trousers for years and quite frankly couldn’t survive the winter without them! I wear them over the top of my breeches and I find that when I’m in them I don’t feel the cold. They are also brilliant when it’s raining and will withstand most downpours. I recently wore them during a severe storm that ripped through Cornwall (we know a lot about rain in this neck of the woods!) and they only started to become penetrated after being out for over half a day in them which was amazing because we were talking serious rain here which was driving horizontally without any let up. They are easy to wash and dry and the full length zips mean I can wear them over my wellingtons. Another great benefit being that when I’m up to my knees in mud they stop my wellies being pulled off my feet! They have enough padding to make them cosy but without being too hot and are flexible enough to wear riding. In fact my colleague has invested in a pair having seen how great mine have been! I’ve had my pair for years now and although the lining is starting to fray a bit they are still as warm and waterproof as the day I had them. I prefer the unisex fit over the ladies version because it gives more movement which when I’m bending and working around the yard I prefer. However, they are not baggy as a result and for an over trouser are pretty flattering! I have included a size chart to help you find the best fit based on our experience but please do contact us if you require further measurements or help.
