The Kingsland KLfay is a lightweight jacket made from recycled polyester and is fully waterproof. It features taped seams and is breathable thanks to the mesh lining.

There is a useful hood inside the collar and two-way full-length zip with a Velcro overlapping flap to help prevent water ingress. The two discreet zipped slant pockets are handy for keeping your valuables in and the adjustable Velcro cuffs and internal draw cord on the bottom hem can be drawn in to stop draughts.

The jacket has an attractive, feminine fit and is subtly branded with KL metallic logo on the back yoke and shoulder; making this a versatile piece to own.

Lisa’s notes: I have to say that this is one of my favourite pieces this Spring/Summer. For those with one eye on the environment, this jacket is made from 100% recycled polyester which is a big plus for me.

It is an elegant design with minimal branding and clean, feminine lines for a modern; fuss-free look. It has all the necessary features required for a practical, waterproof jacket (taped seams being one of them) and the option of using a hood.

You can adjust the cuffs to help keep out draughts and the rain and the hidden draw-cord inside can be pulled in to draw the hem of the jacket into the body. I love the overlapping flap which not only helps keep out the rain but serves to maintain the jacket’s uncluttered feel. This is further emphasised by the two slant pockets that almost disappear into the seams.

The mesh lining helps keep the wearer cool; making this a really; versatile jacket for those days when the weather is changeable, and you need it to adapt to all weathers. In fact, if it wasn’t that I have a glut of navy jackets, this one would be added to my wardrobe!
