These “Venice” safety stirrup irons from Italian company, Tech Stirrups are designed with a revolutionary magnetic mechanism positioned on the tread that allows part of the ring to open, in case of the rider falling and thus allowing the escape of the rider’s foot. The beauty of these stirrups is that the opening mechanism will close automatically once the foot is free, preventing any risk of injury to your horse!

The magnet is such that it will not move during work but only when a certain weight load is exceeded. These patented stirrups are entirely produced in Italy and are made from aluminium and fitted with stainless blocked screws which allow the possibility to change the tread.  The design of the tread prevents the accumulation of mud and water allowing for perfect grip and they are treated with a 20 micron anodization to preserve the quality and look of the stirrups.  

In addition, the stirrup leather slot is formed in such a way as to maintain the stirrups in the optimum position and balanced so that if the stirrup becomes free whilst riding, the weight will ensure they “flap” as little as possible, compared to other similar products on the market. The back sides of the treads have been rounded and all the edges smoothed to avoid any damage to your tack or horse and the screws have also been built in to the stirrup so they do not stick out.
